My thanks to you all for a memorable flight, it was brilliant, it was a gift from my dear friends Mr and Mrs Perkins for my 65th birthday and my thanks to balloon pilot Arthur and the crew it was fabulous, my first in a hot air balloon and I am sure i will want to fly again as i just love flying above our beautiful countryside, the weather was perfect the sun was shining and everyone on board i am sure enjoyed it as much as I did, thank you once again and my best wishes to you all at aerosaurus balloons.

WOW does not begin to describe how good our experience was. Our Hot Air Balloon flight from The Larmer Tree in Wiltshire was amazing. Apart from being lucky with the weather conditions and being able to fly so smoothly over a beautiful part of the country, we were also fortunate enough to have the best pilot and flight crew (Rick & Ali) we could have wished for. They both made the occasion PERFECT for myself, wife and our 2 children, by being so inclusive and friendly. This experience far outdid our expectations and will be a special memory forever.

Thankyou for a fantastic flight in Dorset on 18th June 2017. Lucky enough getting our first booking on such a beautiful morning. Absolutely staggered to discover that one of our fellow passengers was born in the same town in Australia as I was, and that his grandmother still lives in the same road as my grandparents had lived 30 years ago.

Disappointing amount of time in the air.Pilot rude at times.Otherwise a wonderful trip. Slight problem with briefing before flight over the toilets and suitable footwear.
Having been given the flights by my brothers, both me and my mum we’re very excited about the balloon flight.
However we were disappointed with the service from the crew and pilot. They were both very rude and abrupt when they arrived. There were no passengers who had been on a balloon flight before, so therefore we were all unaware of the proceedings. After waiting around for 10 mins for the gas tanks to be filled, we were told to get onto the landrovers. At this point one of the passengers asked if she may use the a bathroom before we left? The pilot’s response was very abrupt, and he made a big deal about how this was going to cause a delay. Surely he should of asked this question while we were all waiting around. The pilot and crew member were also very ‘bossy’ when it came to getting the balloon in the air, and at no point were we put at ease. During the flight the champagne was given out, but there was no ‘cheer’ or warm feeling from the pilot at all, it felt as though he wanted to get it over and done with as soon as possible.
We were both very much looking forward to the experience, however felt let down. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, but our experience was brought down by the quality of service.
Our first ever balloon ride which was a gift for Dean’s 50th from me (Sara) and we couldn’t have asked for much better! Not only was the weather perfect for our early bird flight, it was a great hands on experience, getting involved and helping to set up made it all the more enjoyable. The Pilot (J Dee Shapland) was brilliant, humourus, giving clear instructions and great information about balloon flying and stories of other flights. Also the driver who followed us out on the ground was a great laugh, getting everyone involved in packing up and making it even more fun! A perfect gift and although I’m terrified of heights, its nothing like climbing a tall building, no vertigo, no panic, just peaceful, blissful, floaty fun! I was really impressed with how efficient the whole experience was. From meeting at Five Lanes, journey to launch site, launch, flight was wonderful – couldn’t beleive it was so quiet, landing, recovery and return. With a very good value for money buffet at the pub. Thanks again Des Kent
Very well organised with the correct mixture of serious safety instructions and light heartedness at the same time. I was beginning to think that I would never get on the flight due to numerous weather related cancellations and even on the 40 mile trip to the meeting point, we were held up on the A30 due to an accident.
I’ve flown in most types of aircraft (23 years in the RAF) but never in a balloon, so all that’s left is a journey in to space!

Whilst we both much enjoyed the preparation and the flight, we were very unhappy about the landing, which was sideways on a 1 in 2 slope causing the basket to bounce around quite precipitously. We both came out of it battered and bruised, which very much took “the gilt off the gingerbread.” My wife’s hand was badly swollen and even now nearly a week later still has substantial bruising. I suffered bruising to my back, caused by the bouncing and slewing of the basket on landing even though I was tightly gripping the rope restraints all the time. It was such a shame that the ending should be such an anticlimax after such an enjoyable and stunningly beautiful flight. In addition it did seem to take an unconscionable long time to organise the return to the Jack-in-the-Green. A shame.
We had a lovely flight with beautiful views and the weather was perfect. Only regret is that the winds were too light for us to travel very far. However very enjoyable experience and hope to repeat some time soon.
